Egypt's Meteorological Authority expects mild autumn weather on Sunday, October 18, 2026, with relatively warm conditions during the day across northern Egypt and Greater Cairo, while southern areas will experience hotter weather. Temperatures are expected to feel cooler at night and during the early morning.

Fog is forecast between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt. Fog may become dense in some areas.

Light to moderate rainfall is possible across parts of the northern coastal governorates and the northern Delta, with occasional heavier showers in some locations. There is also a low chance of light rain over parts of the southern Delta and Canal cities, with a smaller possibility of rain reaching Greater Cairo.

Winds are expected to become active intermittently across Greater Cairo, the eastern coastal areas and southern Sinai, reaching speeds of 30–35 km/h.
